With six green arrows in our previous seven weeks, our side seems quite settled and strong. We can’t say we’re making great strides though – seven weeks ago we were in position 62,260, six green arrows later and we’re only in position 52,845. Time for a few risks.

This week, there were only eight fixtures, so the average was always going to be on the low side. We were happy that we had 11 players playing. Cresswell (6) was our only defender to get a clean sheet, while Ozil (11) was our only midfielder to contribute, he got a goal, assist and two bonus points. We captained Vardy who got an assist, resulting in him getting us 10 points.

We managed 45 points, when the overall average was just 33, which meant we climbed 5,000 positions. We’re now in position 52,845 out of over 3.6 million people.  We’re satisfied but want to climb the rankings.

Like we said, we’re satisfied with where we are positioned, but our goal was to aim for the top 20,000 – so we are wanting to take a big risk. If it pays off, we’ll climb thousands of places, if it fails, we’ll drop even more.

Spurs have two tough fixtures coming up when they face West Ham away and Arsenal. So we’ve decided to take a big risk and drop Harry Kane. We will bring him back in GW30. Chelsea have Norwich and Stoke in their next two games – so we’ve decided to bring in Diego Costa. There are huge rumours that Costa will be rested – but it’s a risk we’re willing to take. He’s owned by just 11% of managers, meaning, if he does well – we’ll fly up the ranks.

Our second free transfer is to get rid of Payet. We’re sure he’ll score a few points but with Spurs, Everton and then a blank gameweek – we think now is the time to get rid of him. Again, we’ll get him back after GW30. We’ve decided to bring in Wijnaldum from Newcastle. He faces Stoke, Bournemouth, Leicester, Sunderland and Norwich in his next five matches – and we’re wanting to make sure we have a full team for GW30.

There’s also talks of Alli being rested for Spurs, so we’ll bench him this week.

We have a few options here, Vardy/Mahrez (WBA), Aguero (Liverpool) and Ozil (Swansea) are all captaincy options. But we just think that if we’re taking a risk on Costa, we’ll go the whole hog and captain him!
