We’re trying to keep calm, but are really struggling. Fantasy football returns tomorrow!! Three long months have passed and as with every year, players seem far more expensive this season. This seasons goal is to beat last years position of 33,870.

This seasons strategy may very well be to Wildcard after GW3, when there’s the two week international break. It will allow us to build great team value.

Our side is as follows:

KEEPERS: Courtois will be our full time keeper, we feel that Conte will focus on clean sheets this season. We have Jakupovic as reserve, who’s the only 4.0 starting keeper.

DEFENDERS: Valencia, Evans and Holding will be our regular starting back three. They all seem to have decent opening fixtures, whilst Lenihan and Smith are two starting 4.0 defenders.

MIDFIELDERS: Eden Hazard can not have another poor season, we’re backing him to fire once again. Mahrez is a must-have in our opinion, especially with Hull in GW1. Our other two are Redmond and Deulofeu, these two players are a bit of a gamble, but they have seemed to be playing a higher roll in pre-season, so let’s hope. Our final midfielder is Townsend. It was a toss up between him and Jordan Ibe, but we’ve gone with the new Palace man.

FORWARDS: The front line… where loads of your points come from. We’ve decided on Aguero, Long and Vardy. We think this is a safe bet but really, you could be choosing anyone. There’s Kane, Ibra, Lukaku, Costa, Negrado or Rooney to choose from. Who will score early goals? It’s anyone’s guess.

Mahrez and Vardy were strong contenders, but we can’t have Aguero in our side and not give him the armband. Vardy gets the vice-captaincy.
