After our mammoth gameweek 8 score of 119, and 300 000 place rise, we were desperately trying to consolidate. We were just inside the top 19,000 in the world and hoping to stay there.

Somehow we managed another big gameweek, with Vardy scoring two goals, Costa (c) grabbing a goal and an assist, Sanchez found the net and Mahrez and De Bruyne got assists. In defence, Koscielny, Cameron and Butland all kept a clean sheet.

A total of 80 points puts Team Leftbacks well above the weekly average of 51. We gained an incredible 11,000 places and are now up to 7,829th position out of over 3.5 million people, which we’re happy with, but we want to climb more.

We’re very tempted to get rid of Hazard, he’s been horrible all season. But we are also wanting to get Lukaku into our side next week. Ritchie is another player who is not worth having in our side.

For this week, we’ve actually decided not to make a transfer. Leaving us with two free changes next week to get Hazard out and Lukaku in.

We are going into gameweek 10 with the exact same side as gameweek 9. So we’ll keep the same captain too. Costa is well rested and ready to continue his latest run of form. Kevin de Bruyne will be vice captain
