After five green arrows in six weeks, we unfortunately got a red arrow this week. Two silly mistakes cost us rising further in the global rankings.
This week we chose the wrong captain, we decided to go with Bony, who faced an average Norwich side. Even though he had plenty chances, he failed to score or assist. That match also saw Kolorov miss a penalty for us. Our second error this week was playing Hazard and benching Mahrez. The Chelsea winger got 1 point, while Mahrez was left sitting with 15 points on the bench. Super frustrating. Koscielny (15) scored and kept a clean sheet and Butland (11) didn’t concede either. Lukaku (14), Vardy (7) and De Bruyne (5) all scored or assisted for the rest of our team.
Even with a captain disaster, we still managed 62 points, which was above the weekly average of 56. but not enough to remain in the top 10,000 overall. We’re now just inside the top 12,000 places out of over 3.5 million people. Safe to say we are still happy with our side.
GAMEWEEK 12 TRANSFERS
We are really not keen to make a change this week. The international break comes after this Gameweek and with inevitable injuries, we’d like to keep two changes of the Gameweek 13.
Vardy, Mahrez, De Bruyne and Lukaku are all options. We’re going to give Bony one last chance – if he doesn’t score, he’ll find himself on our transfer list.
