It must be the week of Halloween, because I had an absolute HORROR week. Last week I brought in Ross Barkley, hoping he’d be my differential now that he’s back from injury. Alas, he played a mere 26 minutes and got a single point. Other nightmares included Aguero captaining my side and getting 2 points (doubled to 4), Welbeck (1), Sterling (2) and Hazard (2). A total of 34 (average was 38) was easily my worst of the season, and meant red arrows all around for me.

There is always so much to think about when it comes to transfers, but this week I find myself thinking about not making one. Maybe it’s the fact that I don’t really want to go onto the site and have to view my points haul from last week again.  There is a few differentials that have caught my eye, being a Spurs supporter – Ryan Mason has caught my eye, he has played the last 339 of a possible 360 minutes for the north London club. At 5 million – he’s worth a look. Didier Drogba has had me wondering too, if Costa is unavailable again, the Ivorian will be facing a QPR side on the back of 3 goals in his last 3 games, and at 6.2 for a Chelsea striker, he may very well be a steal. Other players worth a mention for being in my transfer thoughts are: Oscar (Chelsea 8.3), Chambers (Arsenal 4.6), and Chamberlain or Cazorla (Arsenal 6.4 and 8.2).

All roads lead to Costa, as usual. I will wait and see if the Chelsea striker is fit or not to play against Queens Park Rangers. If he is declared fit, I will bring Costa in for Aguero, and next week I’ll do Aguero in for Costa, as City play QPR. If Costa is not fit, I will not make any changes and have 2 available next week, in which case my side will look like this:

Not as tough as usual this week, with the Manchester derby taking place – players like Aguero and Di Maria can be avoided. The only real contenders for the arm band this week are Costa (If fit and I bring him in), Hazard, Welbeck and Pelle. I have decided to go for Costa if fit, if he’s not – I will stick with the Chelsea theme and give Eden Hazard the honour of leading my side this week. Danny Welbeck will get vice captaincy.

Will Costa be fit? Should I rather play Siggy instead of Di Maria? And who would your captain be? We love to hear from you, so let us know your thoughts.
